About me :)

     Well hello everyone. My name is Kelby, and I am currently finishing up a bachelors degree in Elementary Education at Boise State University.  Once complete I will be looking into getting a job as an elementary teacher within one of the school districts here in Idaho.  I am looking forward to teaching any class but I am hoping to be in a Kindergarten classroom.

    Teaching kindergarteners has always been something I've been interested in.  I love that you might be the first teacher these students have had so you essentially mold them into the kind of students they will be.  I am hoping that once my students have left my classroom they will have a willingness to learn. 

   Here's a little background on me, I grew up in a small town in Texas called Leila Lake.  It's so small that if you were to be driving by and blink then you'll miss it.  I graduated with 12 people in my class and was ranked 4th overall.  I have been playing basketball since I was in 3rd grade and was suppose to play college ball but a knee injury cut that dream short.  I moved to Boise about 3 years ago and can't imagine living any place else.
